Initial plans projected the placement of a number of boats at some popular Southern boating locations. As more research was conducted it became quite obvious that a wider range of locations throughout the country was more appealing. It is now intended to establish Boat Share International by placing a number of boats at 5 different Southern locations, and then to extend the scheme by placing boats in regions according to demand from new members.
In this way, it is expected that as the system grows you will be able to enjoy boating at an increasing range of locations within New Zealand.
Our name "Boat Share International" indicates the ultimate steps of placing boats in New Zealand and Australia followed by other overseas locations, of which you will have access to also.
This monitored and progressive pattern of growth based on new demand, is designed to provide ever increasing opportunities for your boating enjoyment.
