I was born in Invercargill, Southland, to a family who loved the great outdoors, especially boats and so began my passion for boating.
When I left Highschool I went into an apprenticeship with R.D. Scott Ltd, a local boat building and shipwright firm, completing this in 1982.
Experienced in most types of boating, I have raced power boats successfully, nationally and on an international level and have spent thousands of hours "rocking & rolling" on our southern waters.
I am now putting my years of experience into boat building. I own and opporate Southern Classic Boats where we repair and refit boats of all sizes and many types of construction.
I am really passionate about boats and I like being around people who enjoy boating too.
It is my goal to always be involved with boats and to now have this opportunity to be able to share my passion of fishing and boating with you. I believe you are able to not only share my love for boating and fishing, you can now justify costs and maximise your time by using my boat share system.
My system has been well thought out and is suited to all, regardless of their financial situation.
You can now enjoy safe, comfortable fishing, diving, sightseeing and relaxation on the water, hassle free, at an increasing number of popular locations around our country and in time, around the world.
I would encourage you to read how affordable this can be, by exploring Boat Share and the many benefits available to you through my boat charter membership system.
If you own a boat there will be a limit to when you are able to use it and your spare time will be spent on repairs and maintenance or simply earning the money for all the unexpected costs that suddenly arise.
Most boat owners will reluctantly admit they don't use their boat enough and to enlarge a little on this, the average use for social boating would be 50 engine hours per year. One man told me the two best days he had with his boat were the day he bought it and the day he sold it! This is not a wise investment for your money, so why not take advantage of my system and earn interest on your savings.

I guess the choice is yours, you can own a boat with all the costs and hassles involved, or you can share a partnership in a boat, however partnerships seldom last. Or you can take my simple, cost effective, hassle free charter system and before you know it you will be simply "Boating Smarter."
