Yes, casual hire of the "Sapphire Lady" is an option if you possess the necessary skills and can display these skills to the satisfaction of Boat Share managment.
The cost of casual hire with a skipper is $1250 per day and $1000 per day as a dry hire. An insurance bond is necessary and will vary depending on ability and experience. ( There may be some geographical restrictions )
Bookings will need to be organised seven to ten working days in advance so that the necessary insurance details can be put in place.
Members of Boat Share will always have priority with bookings.
Once the paper work is in place you simply collect your keys from the custodian , enjoy your day or days of boating and return it to the custodian tidy for the next person at the conclusion of your trip. The fuel and a small fee of a per person basis for supplies used off the boats list of stores will be charged at the conclusion of your hire.
Sapphire Lady is surveyed for 12 persons and 2 crew for day trips or is comfortable for 8 over night. ( 2 x Double births , 4 x single births )
